About Our Business
EQI was established in 2006. Our progenitor, KW Davis, who is deceased, began developing
in the early 1990's some of the processes we currently use. He needed a low-cost drying
method to move forward with a number of business ideas he had. Once he got the pyrolyzer
figured out, he began to develop soil remediation technologies. This journey has ultimately
led us to tar-sands and oil-shale technologies. EQI has been greatly aided by a number of
dedicated individuals who have contributed a tremendous amount of time, expertise, and
money. Many individuals continue to contribute to the early successes of this company.
*Leading EQI into the future is KC Davis, President. He is married with two children and is 57
years old. He attended college on a full ride basketball scholarship and was the Student Body
President at WWCC. He then attended Texas Chiropractic college for three years. Then
Graduated from Western States Chiropractic College in 1975. KC has spent 20 years as a
Health Care Provider in Wyoming. He has also worked in the Timber Industry; Livestock
Production; Railroad; Trucking; Heavy Equipment; and Radio Personality. He has twice been
elected as County Commissioner of Uinta County Wyoming, overseeing an 18 million dollar
annual budget. He has twice been elected Mayor of Mountain View Wyoming. He has also
twice been appointed as Wyoming State Board of Chiropractic Examiners by Governor Ed
Herschler.
